Week of April 30: 1st and 2nd Grade

It is already the end of April and we only have 6 weeks of school left before we begin summer break.  However, we have many more places to visit and skills to practice and learn before school is out for the year.  Today, please click on the science link below and participate in the activities that are appropriate for your age.  At the end of each activity is a quiz. Using your collective technology skills, this week you will begin a Fairy Tale Webquest.  Please click on the link below and read the Introduction and Task page.  Next, using your Fairy Tales Theme Chart, you will begin reading your choice of fairy tales.  You will need to click on the fairy tales page to choose your fairy tale.  While reading, place an X in the chart to identify recurring themes in each story.
